Hojo Undo or supplementary exercise has always been an important part of karate and martial arts training. While our methods have become more modern, the goal remains the same; get the most out of your martial arts training by making yourself stronger. This workshop will focus on teaching youth and teens how to add strength training to their martial arts workouts. We will pay close attention to proper technique, safety and gym etiquette. Participants will be guided through a general workout plan and will have the opportunity to discuss personal goals which we will use to craft future workshops and workout plans.
